Registered Clinical Counsellor
About your teacher
Hi, I'm Clay! I'm a British Columbian registered psychotherapist specializing in trauma recovery, sleep, mindfulness, neurodiversity, and queer experiences. I'm committed to making mindfulness more accessible through creative adjustments and trauma-informed approaches. I'm neurodiverse, myself.
Creating courses, running groups, and doing live AMA's are my way of sharing my passion for psychoeducation, myth-busting, and fostering community. I'm the clinical director of Gather Counselling & Groups and the founder of Brave Enough, an in-progress platform dedicated to phobia treatment. I'm a teacher on Insight Timer, and I'm also the co-founder of Authentically Other, a support group for 2TNB folks.
Oh, and perhaps most importantly, I'm the proud dad and foster dad of many dogs.

It depends, but yes! Please check with your provider that psychoeducational groups led by Registered Clinical Counsellors in BC are covered. In some cases I can direct bill. In others, you will have to take your receipt to your provider. Please let me know if I can assist in any way.
Do I need to be diagnosed with ADHD?
No! Whether you have your diagnosis or you suspect you have ADHD, this course is designed to give you tools and skills that make everyday life smoother, kinder, simpler, and more meaningful to you. Who doesn't need that?
What if I can't join all of the live groups?
We'll miss you! And, you will have access to the slides and materials.
What should I expect?
I get it - groups can be intimidating. They can also be ground-breaking and fun. I try for (and some say I succeed ;)) the latter. You can expect to feel welcome, respected, met where you're at, and accepted.
You should also expect to learn A LOT. These courses are designed so that they can be taken more than once - I am always adding and compiling for the maximum benefit.

How big are groups?
Small - under 15 people per cohort. This gives the time and space to connect with the teacher, the content, and each other.

Groups make all the difference
Learn. Reflect. Apply. Connect.
You can tell yourself that you're not alone, but groups are the proof. Groups uplift each other and normalize each other's experience.
With all the materials at your fingertips, you don't have to worry about taking notes (unless you want to) or hunting down misplaced documents.
Groups are cost-effective, increasing accessibility and cutting down waitlists. Compare 12 solo therapy hours ($1800) to 12 hours of Reset ($299).
15 heads are better than one. Crowd source knowledge from your cohort and build lasting connections.
